Security Camera Installation for Storage Facilities

Access control decides who gets in. Cameras tell you what actually happened. For a storage facility, surveillance isn't a nice-to-have — it's the evidence that resolves disputes, the deterrent that stops theft before it starts, and the eyes that let you run a large property without standing on it. Logical Access Controls designs and installs professional security camera systems on Ubiquiti UniFi Protect, engineered to cover the gate, the drive aisles, the perimeter, and the buildings, with footage tied directly to your access events.

Coverage designed for your property

We don't bolt up a few cameras and hope. We design coverage around how your facility is laid out and where the risk is: the entry and exit gates, where we capture every vehicle and driver; the drive aisles and rows, where break-ins happen between units and rigs; the perimeter and fence line, the most common point of intrusion; and buildings, offices, and amenities, where you want a record of who came and went. The goal is no blind spots in the places that matter.

Smart cameras, not just recordings

Modern UniFi Protect cameras do more than record. AI detection distinguishes people and vehicles from blowing debris and animals, so alerts mean something and after-hours activity gets flagged. High-resolution and night vision capture usable detail — faces, plates, identifying marks — day or night. License-plate capture cameras feed both your surveillance and your gate entry. And because everything is one platform, you review footage from your phone or computer, search by event, and pull clips quickly when you need them.

Storage that fits your retention needs

Footage is only useful if you still have it when you need it. We size on-site network video storage to your camera count and the retention period you want — days or weeks of continuous and event-based recording — with reliable, expandable storage. We'll recommend the right recorder and drive capacity for your facility based on how many cameras you run and how long you need to keep footage.

Tied to your access system

The biggest advantage of running cameras and access control on one platform is correlation: every gate and door event can be matched to video. When the log shows an entry at 2:14 a.m., the footage is right there. That integration turns two separate systems into one investigative tool and one source of truth for your property.

The hardware behind it

We build on Ubiquiti UniFi Protect — AI-capable cameras in the form factors your site needs (turret, bullet, dome, PTZ, and license-plate cameras), recording to UniFi Protect network video recorders sized for your camera count and retention. It's PoE-based for clean cabling, remotely viewable, and integrated with UniFi Access so cameras and entry live together.
