Access Control Installation & Integration
A great access control system is only as good as its installation. Cut corners on cabling, mounting, network setup, or configuration and you get a system that fails in the heat, drops offline, or frustrates the customers it's supposed to serve. Logical Access Controls is a full-service access control installation company: we handle the entire project from the first site survey to training your team and supporting the system afterward. You get one accountable partner instead of a separate cabling contractor, hardware vendor, and IT person who all point fingers when something breaks.

Our installation process
- Site survey & assessment — We walk your property, evaluate gates, doors, power, network, and line-of-sight, and learn how your customers and staff use the site.
- System design — We engineer the right mix of readers, hubs, locks, cameras, and storage, sized to your facility and your goals.
- Low-voltage cabling — Clean, code-compliant cable runs for readers, locks, cameras, and network — done right the first time.
- Hardware installation — Professional mounting and wiring of gates, readers, locks, exit hardware, hubs, and cameras.
- Network & platform setup — We stand up the Ubiquiti UniFi platform, configure access rules, schedules, credentials, and camera coverage.
- Training — We teach your team to add and remove customers, set schedules, pull logs, and review footage with confidence.
- Support & maintenance — Ongoing remote support, updates, and maintenance so the system keeps working as your facility grows.
Retrofit and upgrades
You don't always need to start from scratch. UniFi supports retrofit installation, so in many cases we can upgrade existing readers and reuse current wiring — including older Wiegand and OSDP readers — and even extend PoE over existing two-wire or coax runs in tricky retrofit scenarios. We assess what you have and reuse what makes sense, which saves time and disruption. When equipment is at end of life, we recommend replacements and migrate you cleanly.
One vendor for access, cameras, and network
Because we install gates, doors, cameras, and the network they all run on, everything is designed to work together and there's a single point of accountability. That integration is the whole advantage of the UniFi platform, and it's much harder to achieve when three different companies install three different systems.
