Door Access Control Systems for Commercial & Storage Properties
Gates control your perimeter; doors control everything inside it. Your office, leasing area, climate-controlled buildings, restrooms, equipment rooms, and warehouse spaces all need the right people in and the wrong people out — without handing out brass keys you can never fully account for. Logical Access Controls installs commercial door access control systems that replace keys with credentials you can issue, schedule, and revoke in seconds, and that record every door event so you always know who opened what and when.

Where door access control pays off
- Office and leasing areas — Give staff credentialed entry and lock the door automatically after hours.
- Climate-controlled storage buildings — Restrict interior building access to current tenants only.
- Restrooms and amenities — Offer customer-only access without cutting a hundred keys.
- Equipment, server, and utility rooms — Limit sensitive spaces to specific people, with a log.
- Warehouse and commercial suites — Control employee and contractor access by schedule.
Credential options
We install the entry method that fits each door: access cards and key fobs for staff and tenants, mobile credentials so people unlock with their phone, PIN keypads for shared or low-traffic doors, and fingerprint readers where you want a credential that can't be passed around. Because everything runs on one platform, a single person can carry one credential that works at the gate and every door they're authorized for.
Locks, hardware, and code compliance
A door access system is only as good as its hardware and its safety. We install magnetic locks and electric strike and bolt locks in fail-safe or fail-secure configurations chosen to match the door's purpose and local fire and life-safety codes. We add request-to-exit devices and push-to-exit buttons for clean, code-compliant egress, door closers for controlled closing, and panic/exit hardware on emergency doors so people can always get out quickly even when the door is locked against entry. Getting this right is the difference between a secure door and a liability — and it's exactly the kind of detail we sweat.
How it works
A person presents a card, fob, phone, PIN, or fingerprint at the reader. The reader passes the request to a UniFi access hub, which checks the credential against your authorized list and schedule. If it's valid, the hub releases the lock and logs the event; if it's not, the door stays locked and the attempt is recorded. You manage all of it remotely — adding a new employee, removing a former tenant, or changing a schedule from anywhere — and you can pull a report of every door event whenever you need it.
The hardware behind it
We build on Ubiquiti UniFi Access. Single doors use a compact UniFi Access Door Hub; multi-door buildings use the Enterprise Access Hub, which controls up to eight doors with battery-backup support. Outdoor- and indoor-rated readers handle card, fob, mobile, PIN, and fingerprint entry, and UniFi's retrofit hub lets us upgrade existing Wiegand/OSDP readers using your current wiring where possible. Magnetic and electric locks, exit devices, door closers, and emergency overrides complete the system. We select the exact components for your doors after a site survey.
Built to scale and integrate
Start with the office door today and add building doors, gates, and cameras over time — all on the same platform and the same login. Door access pairs naturally with gate access control and security cameras so every opening, inside and out, is controlled and recorded.
